  • Tricia McKinney, PsyD

    Tricia is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been working with children, adolescents and adults since 2005. She is a graduate of the Adler School of Professional Psychology and has her undergraduate degree from Purdue University. Dr. McKinney’s areas of expertise include working with children, adolescents, and families with mood and behavior disorders, ADHD, Asperger’s disorder, bereavement, life transition issues, parenting issues, and anxiety related disorders. She has over 10 years of experience working with children in a partial hospital program. Dr. McKinney sees clients in individual, family and group therapy and uses a combination of cognitive behavioral and family systems approaches when working with clients. She believes therapy is a collaborative process and works with clients to set the goals for treatment. During therapy, clients learn skills to improve cognitions, emotional regulation and social interactions.
