  • Nicholas Marchand, LCPC

    Nicholas is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor who has  a variety of experience working in both public and private settings.  He has worked in community mental health as a crisis counselor working with children, adolescents, and families.  He also has several years of experience working in a private practice setting with adults who have mental health and substance use disorders.  Additionally, Nicholas has facilitated therapy groups in detox, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient programming while working at Footprints to Recovery.  Nicholas is trained in EMDR.  He is a graduate of Argosy’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and has his undergraduate degree from Northeastern Illinois University.  Nicholas enjoys working with both teens and adults to address mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, to assist with life transitions or to address issues pertaining to addiction.  His work combines counseling skills with established theoretical approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to help clients achieve their goals.
