Elizabeth “Lizzy” Jacobson, LCSW

Lizzy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and provides therapy services to children, adolescents, and families. She has experience working in the hospital setting at both the inpatient and outpatient level of care. She has also worked in multiple educational settings and in a group home for individuals with intellectual and developmental delays. Lizzy has gained clinical experience at Ascension/ Alexian Brothers Behavioral  Health Hospital in their adolescent PHP/IOP and also at Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital on their inpatient adolescent unit.  She is a graduate of Aurora University’s Master in Clinical Social Work program and has her undergraduate degree in education from Judson University. Among her areas of expertise are mood disorders (depression and anxiety), suicidal thoughts/behaviors and neuro-developmental disorders. Lizzy specializes in CBT and DBT therapies and works hard to build rapport with clients so that they feel motivated and empowered to make positive, healthy changes in their lives.
